Adidas had a huge opportunity in front of them to really spice up teams style in the NHL and to be completely honest they dropped the ball. There are a few nice jerseys but for the most part they are either the same or terrible.
Minnesota Wild- Their home jersey was released and it’s my favorite by far, Im a big fan of the cream colored stripe.
Colorado Avalanche- I love their logo and the jersey just looks clean no drastic changes just simple and that’s the way it should be. Just unfortunate there team sucks.
Boston Bruins- Boy oh boy would I have freaked out if they screwed these up but luckily for them they didn’t. It is pretty much the same thing as last years home jersey with subtle changes to the numbers and names. Another change that some Bruins fans are freaking out about is the socks changing from yellow to black but in my opinion I like it.
Edmonton Oilers- I am not a big fan of the dark blue along the shoulders and I am still trying to digest the fact that their primary jerseys will be mainly orange.
Vegas Golden Knights- From what I have seen on twitter people are torn between like and dislike. But in my opinion they are brutal, The away jersey is better than the home but I still hate them. My two big issues are the red stripe and the white gloves, these jerseys would be far better without the red stripe and there is a reason no team wears white gloves because they are disgusting looking and they will get dirty in no time.
Nashville Predators- The Preds have not had an enjoyable past 2 weeks between losing in game 6 of the Stanley Cup Finals and being told that your new home jerseys look like something you wear in practice. That is really my only complaint about them that they don’t look like game jerseys.
This is what the jerseys should look like, take notes Adidas.
